Our clients include: incorporated entities, trusts, and social enterprises, carrying out diverse activities including academies, grant making organisations, hospices, the social care sector, independent schools, museums, theatres, religious organisations and students unions. Our clients vary in size from smaller organisations that require independent examinations to large organisations with complex fund structures.
In the December 2023 Charity Finance magazine annual survey of charity audit firms, which is based on feedback from our clients, we scored 97% for charity expertise and 100% for client service. We have been included in the survey with consistently high scores for the last 11 years.
Our Charities and Not for Profit team comprises of 60 specially trained individuals, located across our five offices, who have strong values, are professional and approachable.
A number of BHP’s charity team members hold the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA), demonstrating BHP’s high level of competence in charity accounting and financial management, which makes a real difference to organisations in the charity sector. Many team members are also charity trustees and school governors with a deep understanding of the challenges that charities face.
